Rosneft’s subsidiaries in the Khanty-Mansi and Yamalo-Nenets autonomous districts organised major volunteer campaigns for veteran oil workers and elderly people. Around 1,500 people took part in the cultural and entertainment events.

Samotlorneftegaz organised music concerts at two large venues in Nizhnevartovsk, featuring performances by renowned artists and creative groups. In addition, the organisers held master classes in portrait painting using various techniques, photography and creating compositions from preserved flowers for guests. The guests sang their favourite folk songs in the music room, accompanied by an accordionist.

Volunteers from RN-Purnegaz organised a Health Festival for elderly people in Gubkinsky. Under the guidance of experienced specialists, veterans practised breathing exercises, neuro-exercises and other health-improving activities. To help guests recharge their batteries after physical activity, volunteers offered them healthy vitamin-rich fruit and vegetable cocktails. The evening ended with tea and popular songs sung with accordion accompaniment.

Rosneft promotes social initiatives in the regions of its operations, with the aim of creating favourable living conditions. It pays particular attention to veteran oil workers and elderly people. For instance, Samotlorneftegaz has helped establish the Nostalgia film club in Nizhnevartovsk and organises retro dance evenings for the elderly. RN-Purnegaz employees regularly organise themed entertainment events and health days, as well as providing home care services to pensioners.
